Slow travel is good for people and the planet. At 3pm on Wednesday, April 16th, Heidi Beierle and the three co-presenters pictured above will speak to their unique experiences as adventurers who enjoy trail-based recreation.

Whitney Washington has pedaled solo across the U.S. on the Great American Rail Trail and also across Korea on the 4 Rivers Trail. She’s an advocate of going after what you want for yourself and not letting societal beliefs limit you from pursuing your dreams. Kelsey Long is a Rising Hearts Athlete Advocate and Co-Founder of We Run Long, an organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting Black, Indigenous and People of Color in trail running and other outdoor events. Read more about Kelsey’s adventures and advocacy efforts.
